Indeed, a lot of what NLS has isn't accessible to me for that reason, but no
apology needed. <smile> That's one of the great things about this list. we
can't always be expected to think of everything, especially when it doesn't
pertain to us. I do use Web braille and use it often, but even with that,
Bookshare is the better deal for most things because NLS just doesn't put
the things in braille that they do on tape, unfortunately. Take care.

If you are hearing-impaired, then unfortunatelhy the majority of NLS books
are closed to you. The number of books in Braille from them is much smaller
than the number on tape.

As I said in response to Kellie, I hadn't considered the hearing-impaired
and I apologize for that. Since all Bookshare books can come in Braille,
this makes a big difference in the number of books that a person with
hearing difficulties can access. It also makes a difference when it comes
to deciding which books I would consider putting up here.

Thanks.
