Hi,
My scanner died in the first week of school this semester. Talk about
aweful! It made things pretty crazy around here for a while. So I do a mad
search for scanner info, and everyone tells me I should get an Epson. So I
go to Best Buy, and what do ya know? they are completely out of Epsons!
How this happens I don't know, but it did. Just my luck for that week I
guess. The guy said they hadn't ordered more in yet cuz a newer model was
coming out in a couple of weeks. I'm like... a couple of weeks? I can't
wait, I need one now! Lol. So to make a long story short, I got a Cannon,
and it works just fine. It is actually cheaper, and works well enough so
far as I can tell. It gets me through anyway. But I definitely understand
what it is like to lose a good friend, your scanner. <smile>.
