Would it be possible for Dana to send the books free matter for the blind.
That would not require any postage or shipping charges.

I think it would be useful to know how much the shipping would cost, at least a ball park figure. I don't know if Dana saw my reply to her on the volunteers list. Carrie at the Bookshare office can run Dana's books through the high-speed scanner and let us volunteers validate the books. With the setup Carrie has, she can do several books in just a day. If several of us could pitch in and pay for the books to be shipped, we could be sure that the books would be added to Bookshare. Carrie's scans are always of excellent quality, something I know I can't guarantee. Carrie can see the print and knows how to modify things based on it.
