Yes, this is true, the books were produced within a certain period of time. So
what will happen is those books will be reprocessed so that the damage will no
longer exist when the same book is downloaded.
I think Angela explained that pretty clearly.

The books that were faulty, according to that memo, were produced within a
specific period of time, several months I think. Even if it was an older book,
the question is, when did Bookshare put it into daisy audio format?

Not true.  The book I downloaded today was one that I specifically had trouble
with when I downloaded it originally a few weeks ago, and now it plays normally.

Then that doesn't tell us anything. In order to know if the problem has been
fixed, it would have to be a new book, produced after February 22. The damaged
books were produced within a specific time period. The books produced before
then were fine.

Probably not.  The book I downloaded is an old title that has been on the site
for a long time.

Do they need to be books that were added after 2/22?

Thanks and have a wonderful and blessed weekend all!

I downloaded a Book Share book in Daisy Audio format this morning, and I am
happy to report that it plays normally on my DTB player without glitches or
interuptions,so it looks like the download problem has finally been fixed.
