Well, their response is interesting since it doesn't answer what might be
causing this.
I'd forgotten about DAISY without images since I almost
never read their DAISY books, although the Polaris will download them easily.
In fact, we're so Braille-oriented that we only read audiobooks if no other
format is available, and we just use our Victor Streams for browsing (when it
comes to books.) Thank you for the suggestion, though; I think it's time I
explored more DAISY options. I should have been more specific about the formats
I used. One is .epub, but I know that option isn't available to everyone. I
downloaded a couple of others as Word documents, I think .docx files, which I
believe is an available choice for most devices using Braille displays.
Good morning, I also have had this problem. I got a hold of technical support
and they just said to download books another way or another format. So I guess
the only format we can download on our braille displays are in the daisy with
out images right? Lelia

Sent from my iPhone

> On Nov 2,

attempts go to the "My History" page and never work, even after refreshing it.
Other formats of the same titles work immediately. This started after upgrading
my BrailleSense Polaris, so I first thought it was ssecific to that device. But
the failure to package and download the same books occurs with the BrailleNote
Apex (I know, it's a wonder the Apex still goes there), and, for the most part,
on our Windows-10 PC.
>
> Is there some change in how Bookshare BRF
files are packaged, or accessed generally, that I'm not aware of? Thank you for
