What happens when you try to read a file on the Bookport? Are you getting an error message?

Then I'd delete those files and put them in via windows explorer without the transfer protocol. Just make sure you create a folder for those audio files first. You can transfer audio files to the bookport without having to go through the transfer protocol of the unit. Just create the folder in windows explorer or my computer, and paste in the files.
