Hello: You should certainly be able to transfer the book on a 1 gig card. What brand is this card? When you have the Book Port connected, if you look at the status bar in the Book Port Folder in Book Port Transfer, does it show you the correct information relative to the correct free space and used space, etc.? If not, then there may be something that is making that card incompatible with Book Port. This doesn't happen as often as it used to, but occasionally, some of the cheaper flash cards have problems. Also, be sure that you don't have anything on the root folder, except the User's Manual, the memoes folder, and the Notes folder. You could then create a BP folder or whatever you want ot call it and put all of your other folders and files in that folder. Sometimes, if you have folders or files in the root, you will get messages about card being full, even though it is not. It's a clutter issue. Once you've re-divided your folders, then you can try that book again. If I had to guess, I'd say that's all of your problem. Recently, I had someone insist their Book Port was not working correctly and then when they sent it in for repair, the only problem I found was that the root folder was too full with MP3 files. Once I moved the files to a different folder, the problem was solved. If this does not turn out to be the case, then I'd suggest trying a different card. You could send that card in, if you're willing and we could test it with other Book Ports. However, try re-structuring the folders or try another card and let's see what that does. I am having a problem successfully transfering an rfbd book to my bookport. I keep getting the message that my cf card is full. It is a 1 gb card. I have tried what I thought was a small amount of info from the cd, perhaps only the first chapter. I was able to send the table of contents. I have tried reformatting hte card several times using the bookport also, whenever the transfer fails, the bookport locks up and I have to remove the batteries to reset it. I know this next question will be hard to answer, but about how much of a typical rfbd book will fit on a 1gb card? should I get a 4 gb card instead? I have used this card with other mp3 files without any problems, so I know the card is good. bookport firmware, book transfer and bookport wizard versions are the latest available. Any help will be appriciated. phil
