Yes. I am seeing more and more blind people, particularly students, who use Macs. I haven't yet foolded with them much myself, but knowing a lot of APH products target students I think a Mac version of the transfer tool would be great. Along those lines, I would like to have one for my Pac Mate as well. I already have a wireless card to download books from Bookshare onto my Pac Mate and uncompact them, but to be able to transfer them to my Book Port from there would be awesome!

Thanks. Glad to put it together. I'm hopeful that we'll see a Mac version of the Book Port Transfer software. The device is already recognized as a USB storage device. Writing a Coco version of the Transfer utility is not a bigt job.
Cheers!

O.
BTW, Jerry, I liked you're review of voice over on main menu. I actually tried voice over at the CNIB located here in Canada

Ah, thanks for confirming that. I also find that, after deleting files, if I navigate back to a folder, rather than going back to the file I was last accessing, I'm directed toward a different file in that folder, providing there's more than one file in it to begin with.

Yes! I reported this behavior during the beta cycle and it's very definitely
there in the released code. I haven't done extensive testing on this, but it
_seems_ as though this happens more frequently if you've done some
alterations (either additions or deletions) to the card in any of the
folders. I have nothing in the root but the BP manual--everything else is in
one of a series of folders--and it seems that if I add new books or delete
one while the BP is actually positioned in a folder (especially an Audible
title), when I exit the folder, I'm bounced back to the manual. My guess is
that it has something to do with the way files are placed on the card and
the fact that these assignments have been disturbed.

I've been set to vacation mode for a while so I'm not sure if this has been
brought up before but...
I've noticed that, with the last few firmware versions, when navigating from
inside a folder on the Book Port, when I move up one level, rather than
staying
on that folder, the Book Port often jumps to the first file on the same
level as the folder I was just in. Anyone else experience this? Has it
already
been reported as a bug?
