Hello, Daveed,
I would have expected a one-year warranty from APH also. I checked the
competition, and the Book Courier only has a 90-day warranty; well, that's
to be expected. We would want better from APH, at least an extended
warranty option for purchase, just as Sony gives.
Actually, this is one of my biggest concerns with special equipment for the
blind. If I buy a computer from one of the main brands, I get a one-year
warranty with the possibility of buying an extension. If I buy a computer
built for the blind, there is no extension.
Even credit cards give 90-day protection against damage, loss, theft.
