Hello.

While I have no wish to bad-mouth any product or any company, I have had
both the Book Courrier and, now, the BookPort. Suffice it to say that there
is a universe of difference, both in the quality of the software, the
interest in updating this software and the willingness of BookPort people to
support their product. Understand that the Book Courrier people are small in
number, trying, as best they can, to produce a product that users will
appreciate. Doubtless, due to the much greater facilities at a p h, the
BookPort is far, far ahead in both firmware and, most assuredly, in software
development. I would very strongly recommend that several weeks of waiting,
hard as this might be, are more than worth the trouble. More than this,
although I could supply many more details, I would prefer not to say, other
than to, again, urge you to wait, wait for one of the most forward-looking
and exciting developments since Blazie's contribution with the Braille
n'speak. As others have very succintly expressed it, BookPort rocks!

Regards to everyone,

Jerry
