No. Those .cda files are shortcuts to the actual files on the CD. They are really small files, and they don't mean anything. So, in order to put the files from the CD on to your bookport, you will need to rip them to your computer's hard drive with a program such as CDEX.

Is there any way to put .cda files onto the book port? I have acquired some
audio CD's, and the files are in .cda format.
