As I suspected, the voice of the Stream is nothing to write home about. I
suppose if you absolutely can't stand Doubletalk, you might like Vocalizer.

I don't know the voice's name, but it is extremely grating on my ears,
and her pronunciation leaves a lot to be desired.

The Victor Reader Stream uses the TTS Nuance Vocalizer has a voice.
When I go to the Nuance website Nuance lists 5 different voices for
Vocalizer. Looking over the Victor Reader Stream documentation, it
looks like it only has one voice. Anybody heard anything about which of
the Vocalizer voices they are using?
