        Changing the batteries did the trick!  It's working and my student is
happy as can be!!

Try changing the batteries in the Book Port and try again.  If the message
still occurs, try a different cable.

This is the first time I've tried to install this program on a desktop.  The
operating system is Windows XP.  I'm able to install the software with no
problem, but when I plug the Book Port into the USB port, I get the message
that the USB device is not recognized.  I tried all my USB ports.

Any ideas??
