Linda:

If you want to copy books back to your PC, you must do it from within
Windows Explorer or My Computer. Once you've pulled up the drive letter
for the Removable Disc, then you would use your normal methods of
selecting the files you want copied. If you want them all, then your
Control plus a for Select All would work. Copy the files to your
computer. If you don't care about holding your place and you're not
going to put them back on the Book Port, then you only need to copy the
file with the DD extension. The DD file is your data file. If your
going to use those files on the PC, then you need to rename them and
delete the DD extension. If you plan to put them back on the Book Port
later, you must paste them back in the same way you copied them and you
must keep the DD extension intact. Otherwise, you could just retransfer
them through the BPT program. Also, you must be showing Hidden Files
and extensions in order to see these.

All of this works for MP3 files and such. However, if you want to copy
notes from the Notes folder, you can just simply use the Syncrinized
feature in BPT and make life easier for yourself.

Since I'm not sure what you want copied or why, thus, the long
explanation.

Can you transfer books from the book port back to the computer?
What are the key strokes to find out how much space is left on the
card?
