Pete:

Book Port Transfer only supports a single level of section mark-up at
the moment. Sorry.

Thanks rob - I've been reading mostly DAISY material these days rather
than
BRF, so I hadn't realized the 9 key function had gone away, and I
thought
the 6+9 section movement commands only worked for DAISY.

Now that I can put in sections, are there control characters or other
delimiters which I can put in the text file to differentiate between
sections and sub-sections and make use of the 1+3 versus 3+9 supported
commands within text files?

Thanks again.

The 9 key for one beep is from days gone by. Try 6+9 instead.

Hi,

I have a text file which I would like to transfer to the BP and in
which I
would like to navigate through sections and/or mark sections easily.

I tried putting the default (first in the list of Options) sections
marker
":::::" to mark the sections of my text file. However, when I
transfer
this to the BP and use the 9 key for one beep while reading the file,
the BP
doesn't seem to move to the next marked section of the text file.

Any advice?

Also, is it possible to put level-1 and level-2 section markers in a
text
file (as with DAISY files) so that one can use the 1-3 and 3-9 keys to
move
to sections and sub-sections as with a DAISY file (or is this type of
marking done in another helper file for DAISY format)?

Thanks for any advice.
