since your choice now is that or over $250 for an olympus DS 50, I suppose
it's worth a try.  I can't speak for Rockbox, but unless you have a
packmate, what else is there? Or do you like being chained to your computer
while you read.
Unfortunately, we have to take what we can get, and if it's worth anything,
it costs a mint.
