Hello list:

Just a bit puzzled over finding my way around in a document. Usually, I just read things and never concern myself about things such as page numbers. It has become necessary to give the matter special attention with one document. The document was originally created in Word. All agree that it has 21 pages. I have transferred it to the book port using the book port transfer utility, point to the file and go to the end of it. Upon going to the page number item in the settings key pad, I find I am on page 6. Using the go to page feature, I am unable to reach 21. This would seem to prove that the document doesn't have that many pages.

This is the first time I've put a Word document on the book port. Normally, I read mostly text files or MP3 files. Just wondering if there is something special about transferring Word files that isn't immediately apparent.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Dave
