No, the issue with the current BP is that NLS uses a different file-type. In order for the current Book Port to play NLS books, these files would have to be converted to MP3, which the Book Port understands. NLS does not want their files converted, so no dice with the current Book Port. If and when a Book Port II comes out, it may well support this file format.

updates available to enable downloading of NLS books.  I'm glad
to see these
