HiRuss and Val,

You will be quite happy with Audible books on the BP. It works quite nicely.
Battery life is a bit low but still very good. I get about 25 hours or so
playing them and other MP3 files on it.

Rick

I've purchased my Book Port, and am anciously awaiting its arrival

I've long been looking for an accessible device for my audible.com downloads
that can handle the highest quality compression rates that I've been
downloading from audible for a number of years.

But CD burning and carrying a laptop when traveling to listen to these books
is inconvenient.

I'm really looking forward to testing out this device. All the other features
are valuable, and I'm as well looking forward to testing these out also, but my
first priority is good clear audio book listening.

I'm aware of the idiosyncracies of BP from my reading your messages, and
trust these issues will be addressed in the updates to the firmware.

By the way, how many Mb are on the flasch card that comes with the device?

  Thanks,

            - russ.
