Hi Russ and list:

Welcome aboard. You've definitely found the convenience you're looking for. Regardless of what size card comes with the unit, you'll be buying more cards soon because audio eats up the space.

Cheers,
Dave

I've purchased my Book Port, and am anciously awaiting its arrival

I've long been looking for an accessible device for my audible.com downloads that can handle the highest quality compression rates that I've been downloading from audible for a number of years.

But CD burning and carrying a laptop when traveling to listen to these books is inconvenient.

I'm really looking forward to testing out this device. All the other features are valuable, and I'm as well looking forward to testing these out also, but my first priority is good clear audio book listening.

I'm aware of the idiosyncracies of BP from my reading your messages, and trust these issues will be addressed in the updates to the firmware.

By the way, how many Mb are on the flasch card that comes with the device?

Thanks,

         - russ.
