I don't know if you saw my earlier post but do as he suggest but instead of 
pressin the space bar rout your jaws cursor then double click with the left 
mouse button (remember its the one above the 8 on the number pad.

Hi Clarence,

I am using Windows XP and just tried your instructions for getting to the
"Safely remove...".  I could not get your directions to work.
As you directed I found the System Tray button.  I've tried pressing the
SPACEBAR and the ENTER key to open the System tray, but neither worked.  Is
there something I should try?

I obviously don't use Jaws but why not do it the windows way then no need to
remember lots of keystrokes.  If you are using ME or later simply go to the
desktop, shift-tab to the systray, press the letter s until you hear safely
remove hard ware, press enter and then tab to the stop button.
