Subject: Special News Release for OTR Lists

(PRWEB) June 8, 2005 -- Attending the June 2005 Accessible World Symposium June
8 11, 2005, will afford a new and exciting experience for everyone. The
symposium will occur during the first voice-enabled virtual blindness expo ever
held on the Internet.

More than thirty hours of programming is scheduled. Attendees from around the
world can attend the event free! All you need is a Windows, Macintosh, or Linux
computer with a microphone, a sound card and speakers. If you do not have a
microphone, you can still hear all the presentations and you can use the text
chat area to ask questions or make comments. The OcuSource Expo can be found at
www.ocusource.com beginning June 8 at 7 p.m. central time.

Old Time Radio (OTR) fans will enjoy live interviews, book reviews, audio clips
of interviews with OTR personalities, as well as highlights of several OTR
shows from an impressive cast of OTR celebrities. These include: Ed Walker,
host of "The Big Broadcast" on WAMU FM; Chuck Schaden, author of "Speaking of
Radio" and host of "Those Were the Days" on WDCB FM; Old Time radio historian
Larry Gassman; author Jack French; Ronald Staley, Old time Radio archivist; and
Joanie Leonard, a loyal OTR listener.

The OTR extravaganza will end with a lively discussion of all things OTR that
will be moderated by Joanie Leonard. Master of Ceremonies Robert Acosta
promises that attendees will be eligible to win some pretty terrific door
prizes! Registrants must be present to win.

"As though all this is not enough," Pat Price, the Accessible World
Coordinator, comments "more surprises are in store for the attendees. Mark your
calendars now so you will not miss any part of this great program!" The
Accessible World Symposium can be found by following the OcuSource Expo links
at www.ocusource.com.
