The K1000 makes Daisy 3 *.opf files. But with the next version, which will be out in a matter of a few months they will be doing both audio Daisy 2 and text Daisy 3. So, you'll have to remember whether you are dealing with an audio or text Daisy. Actually, I just remembered that you already can do both in version 10 of K1000. ----- Original Message ----- From: "LARRY SKUTCHAN" <lskutchan@xxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 24, 2006 8:57 AM Subject: [bookport] Re: DAISY documents or books : What you want to send is the file called ncc.html for Daisy 2 books and *.opf for Daisy 3 books. I'm not sure which one Kurzweil creates. : : : >>> tre_strother@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sunday, July 23, 2006 6:41:55 PM >>> : Hi, : Every so offten I create my own DAISY format documents or books with Kurzweil and I am supposed to shortly be receiving newspapers in DAISY. Why is it that when I create DAISY with Kurzweil 1000, I have always gotten a message that says, :No filter was found for this file type," SOmetimes refferring to the NCX extention or one other which I can't remember what it is at this time. Any hints on getting aqround this? Thanks in advance. : : tré Strother, : A+, IC³ : Phone: 404-840-8189 : Email: tre_strother@xxxxxxxxxxxxx : :
