After taking all of the input presented, while one can copy files from the
command prompt, as Jeremiah correctly points out is discussed in the
documentation, it appears that the copied files still must go through the
transfer software for reasons Ann notes.
If one used a straight dos style copy string, such as
copy c:\book\dogcat.txt l:\book\dogcat.txt
where "c:" is the hardrive and "l:" the flash card drive,
you would have a copied file on the card, but not one necessarily one
fully workable on the BP.
