Fair enough. A few APH folks will be around tomorrow. Don't know which one 
is the list owner, but we'll await his / her advice.

If it is deemed to not be acceptable for the list, please keep me in mind 
for the private distribution, <smile>. That having been said, sound forge is 
a bit pricy for me right now (though I still might elect to purchase it 
since I did have aspirations of using this computer for my "yet to be" home 
studio. I might just go with total recorder for now since Milton Ota says 
that would work for the purpose of making MP3 files from NLS cassette 
recordings.
