As I said, I used the uninstaller for both the transfer software and Book Wizard Reader; then I deleted the APH folder from the programs directory; then i deleted the APH folder(s) from documents and settings. Then I deleted the APH folder from common files. After all that, when I reinstalled the software the program (a) did not ask me to reboot, and (b) remembered all of my settings. What do I still need to delete or modify?

Pretty much the same as with any application, use the uninstall
procedure, then if the folder still exists, delete it. The folder in
Book Port's case is c:\program files\aph\Book Port Transfer

So, Larry, what would you recommend a person do to completely remove
all
traces of the Book Port transfer software to start fresh?
