Have you tried rebooting the computer? Occasionally, I've encountered a
situation where Book Port Transfer simply won't start, even if I try
manually invoking the program from the icon on the desktop, and rebooting
always fixes the problem for me.

When I connect the BookPort to my computer Ican see it as an E: drive, but
the transfer software cann't see it.
I use a Dell computer with 1 Gbite memory, Windows XP Home addition...
