Hi Pamela, Yes running the latest BP firmware and software version 2.3.1.14. To clarify, I am opening a DXP file using Duxbury 10.6 and saving as BRF to read the braille file on the book port. Are you running the latest Beta or the released version? When trying to transfer the files I get the following message: ezb graphic 780 Converting to upper case. OK I gave up clicking ok after 100 and can only close the BP software through the device manager. I should add the BRF files were DXP files. Is their a step or setting I've not covered? Would appreciate any advice on this. Hello Pamula! Please save the list has both the bookport and the list have given me many, many hours of entertainment and challenge in learning how to use it. My biggest challenge was in changing the pesky batteries and you assured me last year that the new model would have a rechargeble battery and power cord to plug into a wall socket. When I first heard that your new model was about to be released, I quickly sold my good old Bookport to help fund the new one. Then I heard the news that there was a problem and that it would be a long time in resolving it. I was stuck between that rock and the hard place. In desperation, I ordered your competitor's unit and was dismayed at how cumbersome it was in loading books into the unit! Fortunately when I tried to use the device, I learned that it had been damaged and was delighted to learn that the company would refund my money as soon as I returned it. This I have done and am again awaiting the completion of your unit! Therefore, we all need the list to keep us informed as to the progress of the new model. I do hope that the redesign will be completed sooner than you surmise and the new model can be released in a few months! Very truly yours, Ed Thurston,
