When you get technical material or periodicals from Bookshare, the Daisy format provides enhanced navigation. For regular novels, though, brf is just as good. >>> rick.alfaro@xxxxxxxxxxx Tuesday, July 12, 2005 3:18:48 PM >>> Just a couple of questions. 1. Is there a short but sweet list of key combinations along with their functions that one can keep on the BookPort? I find myself having trouble remembering some of the functions since there are so many of them. Actually, I remember the functions, but not the key combo needed to execute what you want. I guess this is where a key learn mode would be nice I guess, but would become unnecessary after the initial learning curve. This is why I think just a quick and short list that could reside on the BP would probably be a better solution. 2. Regarding BookShare, as you know, books are available in both BRF and Daisy formats. As far as the BookPort is concerned, is there any advantage of choosing one format over the other? For example, is navigation better in one format than the other? Thanks for any responses. --Best regards, --Rick Alfaro --rick.alfaro@xxxxxxxxxxx
