It would be good if re-chargable batteries could be re-charged whilst still in the unit?

I am hoping to be able to handle the trade-ins from here in the UK, but I
too need clarification.

Batteries will be rechargable, not regular I believe.

Hi Everyone.
I have a strong feeling that the offer of the upgrade is open to anyone. As 
long as you are prepared to send back your BC unit without accessories,
flash media and batteries to Springer, I can't see why if you pay the
shipping and handling fees they should not do the upgrade for BC users
worldwide.
I do have one questions though, will the BC still take the normal batteries and accessories as used with the old one? If you are just sending your unit 
back, they'll just upgrade it to add the new firmware I presume.  Without
proper details, we are just crystal gazing.
