Seth Winters finds himself at the end of his tether. His late wife's parents
have insisted the twins return to his care, and the boys are proving more of a
handful than he'd planned for. He can't keep any housekeeper/nanny for more
than a couple of weeks until Mrs. Merkle turns up on his doorstep. Suddenly the
boys are tractable and meals are divine. Only it appears that Mrs. Merkle
wasn't sent by the agency through which he's been getting referrals. So who
sent her, and why are a number of problems known by Seth's fellow parishioners
at his church suddenly being solved--and in such unique manners?
A nice, feel-good novel perfect for the season! I borrowed it in print from a
library, and see that it is available in audio format via Audible. A light
read, and worth the time.
