Lars and I have disagreed on few things over the years, but I agree
with him here.
This jury ruling points us in the direction of Yugoslavia.It appears
that next time we see something like this happening on our public lands,
we should not expect the government to take care of it. Let the majority
rule, with whatever firearms they possess.
I wonder if the apparently influential Juror #4, coming from a sheltered
private-school environment at Marylhurst College, has any idea of the
consequences of his persuasiveness, and his effectiveness in getting the
one voice who opposed him dismissed from the jury?
Probably not. It's the rest of us who will have to deal with it.
