  LOL!

That's the other old joke - if you don't change your socks each and every
day, they might, at least some of the time, be easier to find...eeeeeewwwwww!!!

  Stay well

Something like this, but allowing you to implement a bit more of it
yourself, in a form of customised method/application of microchips, would be
pretty cool...<smile>

London - Buried under laundry or swallowed by the washing machine, socks
have always had a way of vanishing into thin air. Now, at last, an ingenious
technology
company may have come up with an answer.

European firm Blacksocks has invented a pair sold with a microchip sewn
into the fabric, allowing them to be tracked by a simple smartphone app.

Just take out your mobile, do a quick circuit of the room and the app
will beep when it is near the missing sock.

The waterproof chip can even monitor how many times a sock has been
through the wash and how much it has faded.

Itâs certainly ingenious, but super socks donât come cheap â ten pairs
will set you back Â117 (about R1400). For that price, you could buy a hundred
pairs
from the supermarket, so that a few lost or faded socks would be neither
here nor there. - Daily Mail
