Wasabi Ice Cream with Honey - 4 pts

1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon wasabi paste
4 teaspoons lemon juice
1 1/4 cups whole milk
3 tablespoons honey

Combine 1 1/2 cups water and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring 
until sugar dissolves. Remove pan from heat; add wasabi paste and lemon juice,
stirring with a whisk. Cover and chill completely.

Stir in milk. Pour mixture into the freezer can of an ice cream freezer; freeze 
according to manufacturers instructions. Spoon ice cream into a freezer-safe
container; cover and freezer 1 hour or until firm. Drizzle each serving with 
honey.

Yield: 6 servings (about 1/2 ice cream and 1 1/2 t. honey per serving)
