I did also find the RMC5 settings for enabling/disabling the checkbox for
HTTP/SSl within Replay media Catcher 5.

The steps are if blind users need to are,
Run RMC5
Press alt+l for the Library menu
Choose Settings
When dialog screen loads right arrow until you hear Internet tab and press
your enter key to make it the active tab.
Press tab one more time now.
Right arrow until you hear HTTP ADV tab and press your enter key to make the
HTTP ADV tab the active tab sheet.
Press your tab key now and you will hear the checkbox for the HTTP/SSL
scanning option
Prfess your spacebar to uncheck the checkbox if needed.
Press your tab key a few times to locate the OK button and press enter to
save your settings.

Petro,
Yes, HTTP/SSL scanning. The perils of autocorrect and occasionally working
from a mobile device.

The name of the certificate is as follows:
Replay Media Catcher 5 SSL Scanner Root

Dr. Wilson,
You wrote,
turning on the HHTP/SSL Scanning option
- I believe you meant HTTP/SSl above.

On another note here,
Will check later just to see.
After doing a Start > Run, typing in the edit field
certmgr.msc
In the treeview I should see the Trusted root certification Authorities >
certificate then I tab over one time and finds the list of certificates.
What is the actual name given to the RMC5 certificate shown in the list?

I am on another machine at the moment and do not have RMC5 installed.
Thank you.

The certificate can be uninstalled without affecting your internet
connection. The purpose of the certificate is to allow Replay Media
Catcher
access to HTTPS/SSL streams. If you do decide to uninstall it at some
time,
you can reinstall the certificate again by turning on the HHTP/SSL
Scanning
option in Settings-Internet-Http Adv.

Note that if you currently have no problems with your browser switching
into
HTTPS mode, the certificate is not necessary. However, we are seeing a
significant number of customers being affected, which is why this
certificate method was developed.

Dr. Wilson please chime in on this one as I do not know. If a user has to
uninstall RMC5 in the future will it also remove the SSL certificate or
will
it remain intact? I know in the past I did read how a user could remove
such
certificates but have forgotten how.

when installing the latest version of replay mediac catcher, the sll
certificate i read if removed after it is installed will render your
internet connection lost.
is this true or can a person safely remove and add this certificate so
as to get the benifits from the new replay media catcher?
