[blindeudora] Dealing with Spam email

Hi Everyone,
First of all, I want to let the owner of this list know that I really
appreciate this list very much.
I also want all of you to know that you are all so very helpful and I
appreciate it so very much.
I try to help when I can but if I'm not sure, I would rather say
nothing, than give wrong info.
Okay, on to my important stuff here.
I'm getting a whole bunch of spam email in my fergent account in box,
and I'm going to put it here in quotes, so you all know what kind of
spam email I'm dealing with here.
These are all alius mail boxes for customers to send email to.
"Hi sales",
"Hi Info",
"Hi Pat"
"Hi support"
If I put our spam filter on high, I will miss other important email.
I would say that 75 percent of the email I get in this in box is spam.
Is there anything I can have Eudora do to stop this stuff from coming
in? Lots of these have attachments, and I go and delete them.
I have another question now.
Can we delete files from the c:\program files\qualcomm\eudora\spool folder?
I just got about 4 virus's today, and fortunately, I don't even open
these emails and I certainly never open attachments unless I know who
they are from.
I went and deleted all attachments from my attach folder, and also
from my embedded folder.
Just in case you didn't know this,, it's a good idea to keep that
embedded folder cleaned out. <grin> lol.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
