John,

While I can't see the video, I can enjoy the sounds of the happy little
girl. She sounds adorable. Thanks for sharing.

Subject: [blindcooks] Video of Heather playing with hats

OK, I know this is a list of folks with vision impairments or total vision
loss. Having said that, if anyone is interested, here is the video I
referranced in my post yesterday. Thanks for mentioning Dropbox. I had
almost forgotten I had an account at that site. Heather has a thing with
hats, largely because I rarely leave the house without one. I often sit in
the back seat in the car with her and she loves playing with whatever hat I
happen to have on.
What you see when the video begins is my little girl, Heather, at some
distance from the video camera, playing with a couple of hats. Heather's
best friend, Ashley, comes over and puts two hats on her head. Heather then
walks toward the camera, engages briefly with Ashley's Mom, takes one of the
hats off and replaces it, then walks into the kitchen going marrily along
her way. Heather can only say one-sylabol words right now, but it seems she
learns a new word every couple of days. Yesterday, she somehow learned her
initials and can say the letters perfectly. The link follows.
