Hi, Valerie: I'm so glad you found a way to make them glutten-free! That's wonderful! And I'm glad you like them! I found that the longer they are around, the better they taste! The trick is not having them all be eaten in a hurry! Thanks for the feedback! Half the quantity is in the freezer and the other is out and frosted for sharing. These are so delicious. I am not quite sure how the usual recipe would be texture wize, as I changed it to make it gluten free. I used almond meal and a little gf flour in place of all purpose and because I'd forgotten to buy icing sugar, I made a choc ganache icing. The squares are very tempting and suspect some are sneaked out of the fridge now and then. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely recipe, I was brave enough to alter it and try it with almond meal, though a bit worried how it might turn out, but it's a winner. Oh, I also put chopped macadamias on the bottom of the pans before putting in the batter, just happened to have a small amount left from another recipe. Next time around I'll make the squares the normal way, but this is very good; I'd like to compare the two ways of making them though. Very best. Valerie
