Well, that's a damn shame! I would dump that bank in a heart beet unless
they make a change. I'm sure glad my credit union isn't doing this
deplorable thing. We should all stand up and be proud and be counted!
We need to get up and fight this visual verification thing. It does
nothing but exclude us blind people! The ignorant people who implement
this may not be so aware but it's high time it is brought to their
attention and it is also high time that these web developers sit up and
think once in a while.
I have one other thing to say on this subject. If anyone here is
currently using a service that uses visual verification or requires it
to continue using it, then those people are merely supporting their
continued use of VV. I for one, will *NEVER* use any of the Google line
of products that require visual verification. I don't have gmail, nor
do I use blogger, or any other service. Fortunately, the basic search
engine doesn't use that so I use Google search regularly but won't use
anything else from them if it uses this. I have Yahoo and Paypal but I
signed up for those services before VV was implemented on them. I
suppose out of principle I should drop them but I haven't as yet...
Sorry for the rant, but the more I hear and think about visual
verification, the angrier I get!
