Well, that defeats the purpose of a podcast and its auto subscription
feature. Yea, that may be fine for listening to a single show to decide
if you wanna continue listening to that series or not. But for regular
listening, you should get the feed so new shows wall come down
automatically or whenever you run your podcatcher/agrigator.
