ok, then how do I get the feed://
from the beginning of my rss feed? The idea is that someone could just right click and paste that link into their podcatcher. that

Well, you have to post blog entries and within the blog entries, create
a link like this:
<a href="http://bubba.net/podcasts/show-2006-07-12.mp3";>Link to my
show</a>
With that link in your blog entry, WP should find it and include it in
your RSS feed as an enclosure element. I don't remember if I had to
turn anything on in the Word Press settings or not. The worse part of
WP is the setup portion. The rest is actually pretty easy.

When I do my podcasts, All I do is record the audio, upload it to my
server with proper ID3 tags and all that, post a blog entry with
including an <a> link like I showed above and at that point, my RSS feed
is good to go. Since I refer people to feedburner, I make sure WP is
configured to ping Pingomagic (I think it's called), and if I remember
right, that is an on/off option within WP; then Feed Burner gets "told"
to update itself within minutes of my posting and everyone gets my
wonderful show:).

HTH.
