Don, you do have the correct file, but you have to extract it out of the
archive. Then, you must run the program on the CD which came with your
Iriver. It's the music manager or whatever that crazy thing is called. It
has an option to upgrade the firmware of your unit. You have to run that,
do what it says, and wait until your unit turns itself off. After that,
reboot your machine, just to be safe, and turn on the Iriver. You should be
set to go!
