I also think that accessibility is important for all of us! And even with the advent of the possibilities that podcasting provides us, it will be important!

Hi Debbie,

I most certainly do feel I know what is needed, but I want to gather much more blind community participation in the accessibility advocacy effort. I want to hear them in your own words. In fact, I'd also like testimonial evidence, especially of the consequences of accessibility and lack of accessibility in your lives, etc.

Thanks.

That is neat Darrell. You already know so many of the concerns, fellow
podcaster. Thanks.

Hi all,

I have made the final decision to attend the Portable Media Expo and
Podcasting Conference in November. My most important goal for doing so is
to help bring accessibility concerns just a bit closer to the forefront of
the technology industry, of which portable media and podcasting are most
certainly a part. I am asking all of you to submit to me (either on list or
via private mail to editor@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) a list of your
accessibility concerns with the hardware (both for creating and listening to
portable media), the software and the web sites created in this industry.

I look forward to your constructive feedback and useful information I can
take to this conference in hopes of making the contacts necessary to affect
some positive changes for our ability to participate in the world of
technology.

Thanks.
