I have no idea where the format might be saved to. I bought two music video
discs from a company that advertises and sells them through tv offers during
actual program broadcasts as well as on the program host's website. The discs
are brand new. I inserted one in my c-d rom then after inserting and closing
the drawer, I expected it to start playing immediately, like a movie disc. When
nothing happened, I thought I needed to select something such as Windows Media
Player. When I tried that, it played a sample of a song not even remotely
connected to the music discs I bought. I suppose it's something that's included
with Windows Media player. Anyway, I tried selecting music, then videos from
the folders within the my computer area. Neither of those choices made it play.
Next, I chose my r-w c-d rom in which tray I put the disc. My screen reader
announced things I'm unfamiliar with so selected each item to see if the disc
would play. One told me that I could burn something on it, which I don't want
to do, especially since I only have one c-d rom tray. The others only said
"audio..." or "video..." I hit enter on the audio option but no music played. I
don't think it asked me to save the formatted items anyware. I'll try your

Do you know which format the video file has been saved to?
You could try opening up Computer or My Computer. Point to the CD drive
containing the files and press shift+f10 to bring up the context menu for that
drive. Next, arrow down to open and press enter. This should provide a list of
the files contained on that drive. Arrow through them and press enter on the
one you want to play. Does that method work?

much more difficult would it be on my new one? Anyway, my afternoon's
shot but will be glad for anyone to help me with this problem so I can
