Hello,
A friend of mine has a Dell Inspiron 3542 laptop running Windows 10 home. I
gave him instructions for disabling the fast startup feature and he was able to
do it, but recently, that option has been re-enabled and he can’t seem to
disable it. Did Microsoft change something in one of their updates that now you
can’t disable fast startup? It just seems odd that this would automatically be
re-enabled with seemingly no way to disable it. Does anyone have a solution for
his issue? He told me that in order for him to log in, he has to force a
shutdown and then turn the computer back on.
