Bernie's speech was a fine piece of combining information with purpose
But unfortunately the Democratic Party has joined up with the
Corporate Media to gag Sanders at every possible point. The head of
CBS said it all when he told us that Trump might not be good for
America, but he was really good for CBS. Even so, if everyone who
becomes upset at the free advertising Trump is receiving sent an email
or made a phone call to their local networks, and said that if they do
not stop giggling and panting after Trump, they will go to alternative
programs such as RT-TV with Thom Hartman, or Democracy Now, with Amy
Goodman.
Actually, I do not miss the "local news" from the networks. I get my
conservative news from NPR.

speak on Tuesday night. Common Dreams has a video of the entire speech. It
has no surprises. It is an organizing speech, one that teaches lessons in
short simple sentences. At the end, after explaining how the elites divide
and conquer, he says, "There is nothing that we cannot do if we stand
together". This is what I hoped he would do. If he can manage to hold on to
the end, I hope people will learn something from him about what needs to be
done, and that his campaign will, at the least, be a building block toward

better future.
