I really like the book because it's sort of fun to read. It is kind of about
New York, or a rather unusual version of it. And, I like its political
message. I just wrote about it again to Carl, on this list. I forgot I'd
mentioned it so you see, it's really on my mind.

I just read a Newsday headline that Amazon is about to acquire Whole Foods.
I'm reading a futuristic book on BARD called New York 2140, a satire of who
we are now, of our financial markets, and a picture of where we might be
given our lack of meaningful activity regarding global warming. The person
who recommended it on DB Review, didn't realize that there was satire in it.
At any rate, Amazon should have been included, although so far, it isn't in
the part of the book I'm reading. Its owner is one of the 5 richest men in
the world.
