My email stopped again.
My VR Stream, for those of you who don't know, began acting very strangely
several days ago. Something is radically wrong with its internal memory. The
Humanware support person chose to do the less extreme procedure with me in
order to fix it. What he did, did stop it from turning off by itself while
being connected to electricity and that's a good thing because when it did
that, the stream lost my place in whatever I was listening to. But it didn't
fix the problem. The internal memory is really messed up, very
unpredictable. I've purchased a new one because I don't want to be without
one if the more radical procedure fails and if the stream has to be sent
back for repair. There's a lot to do to get it set up to function the way I
need it to, and I'm so very inept at all of this. Age has complicated the
issue with arthritic fingers and a poor memory. And having periods of time
when my email doesn't arrive, complicates things. The stream will arrive
tomorrow. There are two dealers who sell it for less than what Humanware,
its manufacturer charges. But the guy who sells it for the least amount of
money, 4 of 5 dollars less than the other guy, is a really nasty, unpleasant
person. The other guy, the one from whom I purchased my last stream, is a
much nicer person. I think there would have had to be a huge difference in
price to cause me to choose to buy the stream from the unpleasant person.
I think I just heard an email come in. I'll have to check.
