Loud and Clear is a news and information radio program and a podcast which
is broadcast on Sputnik News. Sputnik News is a Russian sponsored state
radio station, just like the BBC is a British state sponsored radio
broadcast system and NPR is an American state sponsored radio broadcasting
system. The two moderators on Loud and Clear are Brian Becker and John
Kariakou. Brian Becker is a member of The Answer Coalition, a left leaning
organization. John Kariakou is a former CIA agent who blew the whistle on
CIA torture and, for that reason, was prosecuted and jailed. The people who
appear on the program are many of the same people whose articles I post like
Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate. Richard Wolff, people from Code Pink, other
economists, an expert on nuclear energy, Kevin Gestola, and many more whom I
can't think of. There are also some people whom I don't know, some who are
rather right wing in outlook, and some from other countries like Great
Britain and China. The podcast suddenly began becoming unavailable, not
downloading, about 6 weeks ago. When I finally discovered that the only
people with whom to check were Humanware, they checked and said that there
was nothing that could be done about it. It just isn't available. I'm not
even bothering to post this to the Victor Stream list because the last time
Sputnik was mentioned, there were a whole lot of responses about how
everything on it is Russian propaganda. So I'm just venting my frustration
here. I didn't listen every day, and I only listened to the segments in
which I was interested. But I resent that some entity somewhere is making
decisions about what I may hear.
