It's going to be another warm, blue sky day on the Great Olympic Peninsula.
Thanks for your thoughts on the upcoming Landslide we fondly call,
"The Presidential Race".
Frankly, your rationale is as good as mine, or anyone Else's. This
indicates that you and I and others are giving some thought and study
to what is going on around us.
For me, voting for Clinton gains us nothing other than a continuing of
the downward slide the working class is currently on. As Hillary
Clinton begins naming her various teams, and indicates who she plans
to put in high positions in the government, we can see that we, the
working class, are the losers.
But as for Trump having even a slight chance of winning, even
Republicans are not that blind to what the consequences of such a
victory would mean.
Chaos!
While many voted for Trump in the primary, look at what they had to
pick from. Trump was speaking out and flinging poop in the face of
all incumbents and all Democratic candidates, and trashing all his
opponents, making him the perfect person to unload people's
frustration on.
But now they have to choose between Hillary Clinton, whom they believe
is too Liberal, and an Embarrassment named Trump, who is the
definition of a loose cannon.
Many will simply not vote for president. Many will vote a write in
vote. Some will even vote for Clinton. But, as a conservative friend
of mine recently posted on his bumper, a message being sounded by more
and more run of the mill Republicans, "Vote Trump to the Dump".
One thing for certain, we'll find out in November.

Most of the reason why Clinton is so far ahead in the poles revolves around
Trump putting his foot in his mouth. IN other words, the polls reflect more
of an anti-Trump sentiment than a pro-Clinton sentiment. That kind of lead
in the polls can deteriorate very quickly.
Like you Carl, I hope to vote for Stein in November, but if I get a sniff
in
the wind that indicates Trump is anywhere closer than ten points to Trump
here in mass, then I will be breaking out that gas mask and voting for
Clinton. I once put a very cynical message on here as to how a Trump
presidency might actually wake up our people to the need for real change.
But I have become so fearful of what Trump would do as president, that I
would vote for Clinton if I believed that vote would help keep Trump out of
the White House.
